Best Te Ao Maori MOA Award Finalist- Te Reo in the Playground

This is the wonderful stop motion- animation Bailey and Brydie made to teach others about Te reo they can use. Te Reo is the native language of New Zealand. They used the Stop Motion App to create this animation. They want to make another video to teach others how to make an animation like theirs. Bailey and Brydie are 6 years old.

  1. G'day Bailey and Brydie,
I have never made a stop motion animation. It would be great if you could tell us what you did in another post. Seems like you need a background picture, some characters that you can move easily and then a voiceover audio track.

Considering you are only 6 years old you did a fantastic job.

Hi Miss W, Thank you for your comment. It was fun making the animation. We used a glass fish tank to help us. We put our ipad on top of the glass so it didn't move.

  2. That was a really good animation. WELL DONE! It was fascinating to hear the Te Reo words next to the English translations.

    1. Thanks for your comment Tom. What country do you come from? Do you speak Maori in your country?
